Lacey Todd began her career at the City in 2012 as a part-time office assistant for the Downtown Development Authority and City Clerk’s office. She was later promoted to Downtown Midland events coordinator in 2015 and continued to assist the City Clerk’s office during local, state, and federal elections. She was promoted to Deputy City Clerk in 2020 and promoted to City Clerk in 2022.
Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Saginaw Valley State University and a master’s of business administration (MBA) from Davenport University. She has also completed the Election Officials' Accreditation Curriculum through the Michigan Bureau of Elections.
