Selina joined the City of Midland in 1991 to develop a communications program for the City and has now directed that function for the past 30 years. In her current role, Selina oversees the City’s Community Affairs Department, Midland Community Television (MCTV), and the City’s two tax increment financing (TIF) districts, the Downtown Development Authority and Center City Authority. She also previously served as the City Clerk from 2004 to 2019 and still serves as the deputy clerk.
Selina is a lifelong Midlander and a proud Lancer, having attended Bullock Creek High School, and has raised three of her own Creekers there. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations from Central Michigan University.
