I have some ammunition at home that I want to discard. How do I safely do this?
If you posses old ammunition like bullets or shotgun shells that you do not feel comfortable keeping or using, you may bring them to the Law Enforcement Center. Our police department will oversee the safe destruction of the ammunition. If you find ammunition or explosive items that you are not familiar with and don’t know how to handle, do not touch them. Instead, call 911.
