[ARCHIVED] City Still Seeking Midland's Best Photos for Calendar Contest

September 1, 2016 – Fire up your cameras for Labor Day weekend, because the Community Photo Contest deadline is coming up fast!

Residents have until Wednesday, September 7 at 5:00 p.m. to submit their photos online or by mail for the annual contest. Winners will see their photography featured in the 2017 City Calendar and Services Guide.

As a reminder, photos should feature Midland events, people at work or play in our community, and scenic or historic places around town. Photos from all four seasons are welcome. A maximum of two (2) photos per person will be accepted. Submitted photos should be no more than three years old and should depict people, places, or events located within the City of Midland. Calendar photos will be selected based on originality, creativity, and quality of reproduction. All photo entries received for the contest become the property of the City of Midland and may be used in future City communications, including print and digital media.

Photos may be submitted online via the City’s 2017 Community Photo Contest website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/citycalendar or by mail to Midland City Hall, Attention: City Manager’s Office, 333 W. Ellsworth Street, Midland, MI 48640. Entry forms for mail submissions can be found at Midland City Hall and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library. For mail submissions, please allow enough time for entries to be received by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date to qualify.
