June 28, 2016 – Following a series of public input sessions, the City of Midland has added first-draft design concepts for the downtown streetscape redevelopment project to E-City Hall for citizens to provide input.
Participants will be asked to review a series of designs under five categories and provide feedback on each design before selecting their top choice in each category. This feedback, combined with suggestions heard during the public input session on June 23 and drop-in workshop on June 24, will be incorporated into the next round of designs by Smith Group JJR.
To access the survey, residents should visit http://bit.ly/ecityhall and click on “What streetscape design concepts do you want to see in Downtown Midland?” under the Open Topics tab. The topic can also be accessed on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov by clicking on the E-City Hall link in the left toolbar.
Residents are encouraged to sign up for a free, secure E-City Hall account before completing the survey. Registering for an account allows participants’ feedback to be shown to other survey respondents, alerts the participant when other responses and topics are posted, and provides important demographic information. Registration is not required, however, to participate.
