[ARCHIVED] City Closures and Service Changes for July 4th Holiday

June 24, 2016 – All City of Midland offices, including the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, Sanitary Landfill and Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART), will be closed on Monday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Jack Barstow Airport will also be unattended.

Refuse and Week 1 Recycling will not be collected on Monday, July 4. Instead, a double pickup will be made on Tuesday, July 5. Residents who live on streets normally scheduled for Monday refuse collection and week 1 recycling should place items at the curb by 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 to ensure pick-up.
