June 17, 2016 – The City of Midland is pleased to announce that Katie Guyer has joined the staff this week as Communications Coordinator.
Guyer brings more than 10 years of marketing and communications expertise to the position, including experience with social media, digital communication, web development, graphic design, and marketing strategy. Guyer has worked in a variety of industries and most recently served as the Manager, Marketing and Communications for the Greater Kokomo Economic Development Alliance in Kokomo, Indiana. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Butler University.
In her new role, Guyer manages day-to-day communications for the City of Midland and shares information on city programs and services through citizen communications, local media and online and social media outlets.
