[ARCHIVED] City Offices Close for Memorial Day

May 16, 2014 – All City of Midland offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, in recognition of the Memorial Day holiday.

Residents with Monday and Tuesday refuse and week 4 recycling collections should place items at the curb on Tuesday, May 27. Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.

The Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Memorial Day, but will have regular Saturday hours, 8:30 a.m. until noon, on May 24.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on Sunday, May 25, and on Memorial Day, but will have normal Saturday hours of 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation System will be closed on Memorial Day. Bus service will operate Saturday, May 24 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Phone service will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on Memorial Day.
