Refrain from Placing Leaves on Grant and Georgetown Streets

November 2, 2015 – Residents on Grant and Georgetown streets should refrain from putting leaves in the street until road construction is finalized on those streets. These roadways are located in heavy item collection Area B, which is currently in the process of fall leaf collection.

Grant Lane from the end of the street to its intersection with Waldo is currently undergoing the first layer of paving. The road’s top course will be laid down on Georgetown from Whitewood Drive to Congress Drive on Wednesday, November 4. We anticipate the top course of paving will occur on Grant Lane on Thursday November 5.

Residents can begin placing leaves in the street on Friday, November 6.

As this project continues, information will be posted on City of Midland Facebook and Twitter pages. Like us at facebook.com/MidlandConstruction and follow us at twitter.com/cityofmidlandmi for updates.
