August 29, 2023 – Swede Avenue will be closed to through traffic from E. Ashman Street to E. Sugnet Road on Wednesday, August 30 as crews from City of Midland Forestry perform a tree removal.
Work is estimated to begin at 8 a.m. and conclude by 3 p.m., weather permitting. Once work has been completed, Swede will reopen to vehicle traffic.
Through traffic on Swede will be detoured via westbound Ashman, northbound Kentwood Drive, eastbound Corrine Street, and eastbound Sugnet.
Due to the nature of these activities, work may be rescheduled if conditions warrant.
