[ARCHIVED] Touch A Truck Returns to Library July 19

June 9, 2023 – The City of Midland’s annual Touch A Truck event is back! Little vehicle enthusiasts can see, touch, and climb behind the wheel of many of the City’s heavy equipment vehicles, including refuse and dump trucks, loaders, police vehicles, fire equipment, and more!

Touch A Truck 2023 will be held Wednesday, July 19 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, located at 1710 W. St. Andrews Road. In the event of rain or severe weather, Touch A Truck will be rescheduled for Thursday, July 20.

This year, the Library will also be hosting a Move and Groove Storytime during the event! Participants can meet on the Library Lawn at 10:30 a.m. to sing, dance to fun action songs, and listen to a story!

To promote safe passage for pedestrians, St. Andrews Road will be closed to through traffic just west of the Library. Please use Eastman Avenue to access the Library as the Library parking lot will not be accessible from Orchard Drive.

Touch A Truck is free and open to everyone.

For more information, contact the Library at 989-837-3430 or visit www.gadml.org
