[ARCHIVED] Rail Trail to Close for Second Seal Coating Attempt (UPDATED)

UPDATE: June 1, 2023 - Most seal coating was successfully completed; however, the trail section from the Tridge (Mile 0) to the Gerstacker Spray Park will be closed from 10 p.m. Thursday, June 1 until Friday, June 2 at noon.

May 30, 2023 – A section of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 30 at 10 p.m. as crews complete seal coating of the trail that began last week and was delayed due to equipment complications. 

The trail will be closed from the Tridge (Mile 0) to Dublin Avenue and is anticipated to reopen on Thursday, June 1. For the safety of trail users and working crews, please do not bypass or move closure barricades.
