[ARCHIVED] Section of Rail Trail Closed May 23-24 (UPDATE)

UPDATE: May 24, 2023 – Due to equipment complications, seal coating planned for the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail from the Tridge (Mile 0) to Dublin Avenue was not completed. The trail will remain closed until Thursday, May 25 from Sugnet Road to Dublin Avenue for drying of the successfully-coated section; however, the rest of the trail previously closed will reopen until next week when weather conditions are optimal for seal coat drying. More information will be shared when available. 

Please do not bypass or move closure barricades on the closed section of the trail.

May 22, 2023 – A section of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 23 at 10 p.m. through Wednesday, May 24 as crews seal coat the trail. 

The trail will be closed from the Tridge (Mile 0) to Dublin Avenue and is anticipated to reopen on Thursday, May 25. For the safety of trail users and working crews, please do not bypass or move closure barricades.
