[ARCHIVED] Reminder of Holiday Refuse, Recycling Collection Schedules

December 16, 2022 – The upcoming holiday season will cause changes to refuse and recycling collection schedules for some City residents over the next two weeks.

City offices and collection services will be closed on Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday. Residents with Friday refuse and Friday Week 3 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Thursday, December 22 (one day earlier). Residents with Monday, December 26 refuse and Monday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Tuesday, December 27 (one day later).

Offices and services will also be closed on Monday, January 2, 2023 in observance of the New Year’s Day holiday. Residents with Monday refuse and Monday Week 1 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Tuesday, January 3 (one day later).

Place items at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. Households whose refuse and recycling collection are impacted by holiday closures were sent a postcard in the mail last week. There is no change in collection schedule for residents with other refuse and recycling collection days not listed above.

Residents can find all of the City’s regular and holiday collection schedules, as well as set email and mobile alert reminders, by using the free Recycle Coach™ app available on mobile from the iTunes Store and Google Play or online at www.recyclecoach.com.
