May 8, 2015 – The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library is offering several computer classes this spring to increase your software skills:
Introduction to Word: Tuesday, May 12, 2:30 p.m. Learn how to use the ribbon to create, save, and print documents; highlight, copy, and paste text; and more.
Introduction to Windows: Thursday, May 14, 2:30 p.m. Learn the basics of Windows. Class will concentrate on Windows 7, with some Windows 8.1 covered.
Files, Folders, and Storage: Thursday, May 21, 2:30 p.m. Learn how to organize your computer’s filing system using Windows 7 and 8.1.
Introduction to Excel: Thursday, June 4, 2:30 p.m. Learn basic skills for cell entry and manipulation, formatting techniques, sheet tabs, and basic formula creation.
Space is limited so please call the Library’s Reference Desk to register at 989-837-3449. The workshop will be held in the Library’s Computer Lab, located on the lower level.
