Urban3 Economic Productivity Analysis Available for Viewing

August 12, 2022 – Residents are invited to review the economic productivity analysis provided to the City of Midland by land consulting firm Urban3 on the Midland City Modern website, www.midlandcitymodern.com. This update was provided to Midland City Council and City Planning Commission during a special joint meeting on Thursday, July 7.

The analysis report and presentation includes information on the economic productivity of individual properties, impact of development types on the City’s funding levels, areas of opportunity for future land use in areas of the city, and more.   

Interested residents can review the report and presentation files and watch the recorded meeting on the Midland City Modern website at www.midlandcitymodern.com. Meeting playback is also available on-demand through the MCTV Network on the following media: Cable television via Charter Spectrum channel 188 or U-verse 99; Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV and Fire Stick streaming devices via the MCTV Network app; on mobile devices via the free Cablecast Community Media app; and online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/livestream.

Urban3 is a private consulting firm specializing in land value economics, property tax analysis, and community design that was hired to complete the analysis as part of the City Modern Master Plan update process.
