[ARCHIVED] Jefferson Avenue Reconstruction Project Begins July 5

June 29, 2022 – Beginning Tuesday, July 5, Jefferson Avenue will be closed to through traffic from E. Sugnet Road to E. Wheeler Street through the end of August for a street reconstruction project. 

During the closure, northbound traffic on Jefferson will be detoured via eastbound Sugnet, northbound Washington Street, and westbound Wheeler. Southbound traffic on Jefferson will be detoured via eastbound Wheeler, southbound Washington, and westbound Sugnet.

Traffic delays are expected and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes around the closure if possible.

This project is expected to be completed in August 2022.
