June 17, 2022 – The Midland City Clerk’s Office has mailed new voter identification cards to all registered voters in the city of Midland ahead of the August 2 Primary and November 8 General elections. New cards were sent as a result of redistricting changes at the state and local levels made earlier this year.
Voters should check their voter identification cards to ensure that their name, address, and other personal information are correct. Voters should also note their ward, precinct, and polling location on the card, as this information may have changed since the last election cycle.
Voter registration cards are provided for the voter’s informational purposes only and are not required to be presented to vote.
As some registered voters may have moved since the last election cycle, it is possible that residents may receive a voter identification card at their address that does not belong to them. Residents whom receive a voter identification card in the mail that does not belong to them should write “Return to sender” or “Not at this address” on the card and place the card back in their mailbox for pick-up by their mail carrier.
