March 27, 2015 – Many City of Midland offices and services will be affected by the Easter holiday.
All City offices will be closed on Friday, April 3 in recognition of Good Friday.
Residents with Friday, April 3 refuse collection should place items at the curb on Monday, April 6. Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection.
The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed both Good Friday and Easter Sunday. The Library will maintain its normal Saturday hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dial-A-Ride Transportation System (DART) will be closed both Good Friday and Easter Sunday. DART bus service will operate Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Phone service will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be open on Good Friday from 8 a.m. to Noon and Saturday, April 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but will be unattended on Easter Sunday.
The Sanitary Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 3 and 8:30 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, April 4.
