November 2, 2021 – The City of Midland Wastewater Plant has notified the public of a sanitary sewer overflow event that resulted in the discharge of approximately 2,400 gallons of untreated sewage into the Tittabawassee River via the City’s storm sewer system.
A sanitary sewer leak in the area of Austin Street and Pershing Street discharged sewage into the storm sewer system, which flows into the river.
