September 24, 2021 – Midland Parks and Recreation invites residents to celebrate Midland Neighboring Week with a citywide parks history mystery scavenger hunt. Now through October 10, residents can register online for this free event and search historic City parks for clues.
To participate, sleuths should register at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/hunt to receive their first clue. Clues will guide participants around the city to City-owned parks and spaces to find hints that will help them crack the case. Detectives will be required to answer the final clue and contact Parks and Recreation with the winning phrase. The hunt is estimated to take between 2 – 3 hours to complete, but may take longer for younger children.
All participants who complete the scavenger hunt and submit their winning responses by Sunday, October 10 at 11:59 p.m. will receive a prize.
For additional information or assistance, call the Parks and Recreation office Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 989-837-6930 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
