[ARCHIVED] Celebrate the NEA Big Read Kick Off with the Library

September 16, 2021 – Join the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, in collaboration with Creative 360, to celebrate the kick off of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read, and the start of the City of Midland's neighbor week! The kickoff party will take place Saturday, September 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Creative 360, located at 1517 Bayliss Street.

Free copies of the NEA Big Read featured book - The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros – will be available at the kickoff as well as at the Library for anyone who cannot attend the party. Stop by and enjoy fun music, games, art stations, delicious food, a story time from Grace A. Dow Memorial Library staff, and more!

The NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment of the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest and will run from September 2021 until June 2022.
