[ARCHIVED] City Offices, Services Closed on Labor Day

August 27, 2021 – All City of Midland offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Residents with Monday and Tuesday refuse and Monday and Tuesday Week 1 recycling collections should place items at the curb on Tuesday, September 7. Items should be placed at the curb by 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. 

The City of Midland Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Labor Day, but will have normal hours on Saturday, September 4 from 8:30 a.m. - noon. 

Dial-A-Ride Transportation will not operate on Labor Day; however, buses will run during normal Saturday and Sunday hours of operation on September 4 and 5. 

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be unattended on Labor Day.
