August 24, 2021 – Intersections in Midland will be receiving a fresh coat of paint in the coming weeks. Contractors will begin repainting symbols, stop bars, and crosswalks within the City beginning Wednesday, August 25 with both daytime and nighttime painting.

Fresh paint will be marked with traffic cones. To avoid paint splatter on vehicles and across pavement, motorists should avoid driving between traffic cones or over any markings that appear to be wet. Once the paint has dried, cones will be removed and normal traffic movements may resume.

A map of pavement marking locations can be found at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/pavementmarking
