[ARCHIVED] Low Water Pressure Expected in Northeast District June 3

June 2, 2021 – Some City of Midland water service customers may see temporary low water pressure on Thursday, June 3 as crews close a water main to facilitate work related to the E. Wheeler Street reconstruction and water main replacement project.

Customers located in the Northeast Water Pressure District – E. Wheeler Street north to US-10 and Jefferson Avenue east to Waldo Avenue – may see water press levels lower than normal while work is underway.

Work will begin at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday and conclude by the end of the day. As these activities are being conducted within the construction zone already in place on E. Wheeler, motorists should not be additionally impacted by this work.

For more information or questions, contact City of Midland Water Distribution at 989-837-6950. Updates will also be shared on the City of Midland Facebook page at facebook.com/cityofmidlandmi and on Twitter at @CityofMidlandMI.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time. Should an issue arise that would change this schedule, the City will provide updates via the methods listed above.
