February 19, 2021 City of Midland residents can now order and purchase City of Midland refuse bins, yard waste bins, and yard waste bin and compost bag stickers online through the Department of Public Services (DPS) website and have them delivered directly to their homes.

City residents can now purchase or renew the following items online:

  • Gray 95-gallon City refuse bins
  • Blue 95-gallon City yard waste bins
  • Yearly yard waste bin stickers
  • Yard waste compost bag stickers (20-pack)

New users will be required to create an online account prior to purchasing or renewing items. Residents who have previously reserved a park shelter, purchased a Plymouth Park pool pass, or registered for a program through Parks and Recreation can use their existing account to purchase DPS items.

Purchases may be made online with Visa or MasterCard. Yard waste stickers and bin stickers will be mailed directly to residents’ homes, while refuse and yard waste bins are delivered to the address on the order approximately three (3) days after the order is received. Please allow at least two (2) weeks’ mailing time for yard waste stickers.

Gray refuse bins and blue yard waste bins are not required for collection; however, City bins are warrantied for five (5) years and are designed to work with the City’s semi-automated collection system. Yard waste stickers are required on compost paper yard waste bags or blue yard waste bins beginning the first Monday in May through the first Monday in October each year.

To purchase bins and bin stickers, review the City’s collection services, or find collection schedules, visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/publicservices.
