[ARCHIVED] Tree Removal at Stratford Woods Park Continues This Week

A lake with a pink, orange, and blue sunset over woods

December 7, 2020 – With favorable weather conditions providing an opportunity to expand the work area, City of Midland Forestry crews will continue tree removal in Stratford Woods Park that began on Monday, November 30. The woods and a portion of the parking lot will remain closed to visitors while work is underway.

Due to the nature of this activity, residents must remain out of the woods and closed parking lot areas until work has been completed. Tree work in the park may be loud and produce a significant amount of debris.

Wood chips and firewood from the removed trees may be made available in the Stratford Woods parking lot for residents’ personal use at no cost.

For additional information or questions, please contact the Parks and Recreation office at 989-837-6930 or recreation@midland-mi.org.
