October 20, 2020 – The City of Midland Water Department has completed its comprehensive maintenance and painting project on the Plymouth elevated water storage tank in Plymouth Park. The project began in late August and spanned approximately eight weeks.
The process included draining the Plymouth tank, performing necessary upgrades, cleaning and painting the tank’s interior and exterior, disinfecting, refilling the tank, and conducting bacterial sampling. The water tower was placed back into service on Tuesday, October 20.
