[ARCHIVED] Trail Repairs Under M-20 Bridge Scheduled for Thursday

September 30, 2020 – Two trails under the Karl B. Robertson (M-20) Bridge will be closed temporarily on Thursday, October 1 in order to repair damage sustained during the May 2020 flooding event.

A City of Midland contractor will begin repairing the trail leading into Chippewassee Park earlier in the day, then will move to repair damaged sections of the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail under the bridge.

Trail users will be able to detour around the closures while work is underway.

Repairs are anticipated to take one day to complete. Both trails are expected to reopen completely by the end of the day on Thursday, October 1.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time. Should an issue arise that would change this schedule, the City will provide updates via the methods listed above.
