[ARCHIVED] Celebrate Neighboring Week with a Parks Scavenger Hunt

September 29, 2020 – Midland Parks and Recreation invites residents to celebrate Midland Neighboring Week with a city-wide parks scavenger hunt. Now through October 11, residents can register online for this free event and search City parks for clues to help solve the mystery.

To participate, sleuths should register at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/recreation to receive their first clue. Clues will guide participants around the city to City-owned parks and amenities to find hints that will help them crack the case.  Detectives will be required to answer the final clue and contact Parks and Recreation with the winning phrase. The hunt is estimated to take between 2 – 3 hours to complete, but may take longer for younger children.

All participants who complete the scavenger hunt and submit their winning responses by Sunday, October 11 at 11:59 p.m. will receive a prize.

For additional information or assistance, call the Parks and Recreation Office Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 989-837-6930 or email the office at recreation@midland-mi.org.
