[ARCHIVED] Intersection Pavement Marking Program Begins Sunday

August 14, 2020 – Intersections in Midland will be receiving a fresh coat of paint in the coming weeks. Contractors will begin repainting symbols, stop bars, and crosswalks within the City beginning the evening of Sunday, August 16.

Fresh paint will be marked with traffic cones. To avoid paint splatter on vehicles and across pavement, motorists should avoid driving between traffic cones or over any markings that appear to be wet. Once the paint has dried, cones will be removed and normal traffic movements may resume.

For more information, contact City Engineering at 989-837-3348.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time.
