[ARCHIVED] Intersection Closures on Cambridge at Washington, Dartmouth

June 19, 2020 – The intersections of Cambridge Street with Washington Street and Dartmouth Drive will close temporarily next week as work continues on the street reconstruction and water main replacement project on Cambridge.

On Tuesday, June 23, the intersection of Cambridge and Dartmouth will be closed for approximately 1 – 2 days. During the closure, northbound Dartmouth traffic will be detoured via S. Saginaw Road, Rodd Street, Cambridge, and E. Ashman Street.  Southbound Dartmouth traffic will be detoured via Airfield Lane, Washington, Eastlawn Drive, and S. Saginaw Rd. Washington Woods senior living community and other businesses within the project may be accessed from Washington Street during the closure.

On Thursday, June 25 the intersection of Cambridge and Washington will be closed for approximately 1 – 2 days. During the closure, northbound Washington traffic will be detoured via Eastlawn, S. Saginaw Road, Dartmouth, and E. Ashman Street.  Southbound Washington traffic will be detoured via E. Ashman Street, Swede Avenue, and Eastlawn. Washington Woods senior living community and other businesses within the project may be accessed from Dartmouth Drive during the closure.

Motorists traveling through or to a destination within the construction zone should drive with caution while work is underway. The project is estimated to be completed by the end of July.
