[ARCHIVED] Currie Golf Course Reopens Following Flood

The Currie Golf Course clubhouse in the early morning

June 12, 2020 – Following damage sustained in the recent flooding event in May 2020, the East 9 course and driving range at Currie Municipal Golf Course have reopened to the public effective today.

The West 9 course remains closed at this time, but is anticipated to reopen for play on Friday, June 19.

The East course is open for both walking players and carts. Two riders per cart is permitted. Single-rider carts and rental pull carts are available upon request.

In an effort to comply with current COVID-19 social distancing guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), players are encouraged reserve tee times and pre-pay for their rounds online at www.curriegolf.com or by phone at 989-837-9600 to limit in-person interaction with staff. The clubhouse and pro shop are open and limited to six (6) patrons at one time.

Currie Municipal Golf Course is owned by the City of Midland and managed by Billy Casper Golf. For more information or to schedule a tee time, visit www.curriegolf.com or call 989-839-9600.
