[ARCHIVED] Now Accepting Appreciation of Beautification Nomination Forms

May 15, 2020  Midland’s Beautification Advisory Committee asks residents to nominate a friend, neighbor, or even someone they don’t know for making Midland more beautiful.

The committee is accepting nominations for the annual Appreciation of Beautification Awards for Landscaping Accomplishments and Structural/Site Improvements made to residential and non-residential (business) property. The Bette R. Tollar Civic Commitment Award recognizes major beautification accomplishments that benefit the community as a whole.

Only properties within the City of Midland are eligible for awards.

All City buildings remain closed to the public through Friday, May 29. A digital form nomination form can be found on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/beautification. The nomination deadline is August 1.

At this time, recipients of this year’s awards will be recognized and honored at a ceremony in November.

For additional information, visit the Municipal Service Center, 4811 N. Saginaw Road, or contact Midland Parks and Recreation at 989-837-6930.
