[ARCHIVED] MDBA Announces Cancellation of 2020 Tapped Event

April 17, 2020 – After careful consideration, the Midland Downtown Business Association (MDBA) has cancelled this year’s Tapped – Downtown Midland’s Craft Beer Festival previously scheduled for June 20, 2020. The cancellation comes in response to public health and economic concerns amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“Events like Tapped require significant planning and support from our small businesses, many of which have been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic,” said City of Midland Community Affairs Director Selina Tisdale. ”To ensure the health and safety of our volunteers, guests, vendors, and staff, the MDBA felt it best to forgo this year’s event. We encourage our community to continue supporting our local businesses in every way possible during this time. We look forward to bringing Tapped back to Downtown Midland in June 2021.”
