[ARCHIVED] Reminder: Sign Up Your Pup for Pooches at the Pool

August 30, 2019 – Midland paw-rents are reminded to sign up their pups for the most fun dog day of the summer: the annual Pooches at the Pool dog swim with Midland Parks and Recreation!

Each registered dog gets a 30-minute swim session in Plymouth Pool with their human companions and up to 29 other furry friends at the same time. Time slots can be reserved from 10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 7 for $8.00 per dog.

Owners will be responsible for providing written proof of vaccinations on the day of the event (tags do not suffice). In addition, local canine organizations will be on hand to showcase their services and provide volunteer assistance.

Pre-registration and pre-payment for this event are recommended as spots fill quickly. Registration will end when all spots are full and will only be taken on the day of the event if space is available. Register for this event online at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/pooch or at the Parks and Recreation Office, 4811 N. Saginaw Rd.

For additional information or questions, please contact Midland Parks and Recreation at 989-837-6930 or recreation@midland-mi.org.
