[ARCHIVED] Intersection Pavement Marking Underway

Lines on an asphalt road

August 9, 2019 – Intersections in the City Midland are getting a fresh coat of paint beginning this week. Contractors will repaint stop bars, crosswalks, turn arrows, and other pavement markings at street intersections throughout the community over the next several weeks.

Freshly-painted lines will be marked with traffic cones. To avoid paint splatter on vehicles and across pavement, motorists are encouraged to avoid driving between traffic cones or over any markings that appear to be wet. Once the paint has dried, cones will be removed and normal traffic movements may resume.

For more information, contact City Engineering at 989-837-3348.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time. Should an issue arise that would change this schedule, the City will provide updates on the City website, www.cityofmidlandmi.gov, and on the City's Facebook and Twitter channels.
