June 27, 2019 – Hear some out-of-this-world stories from a NASA engineer during a free discussion at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library!
NASA Electronics Engineer Dale Force will visit the Library on Thursday, July 11 at 7 p.m. to present highlights from his 36-year career in space communication and navigation. He’ll discuss radio science results from the Cassini Saturn Orbiter and share stories and images from exciting missions such as the Deep Impact mission to comet Tempel 1, Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, and the Apollo 11 landing site. Dale will also discuss his more recent work and interesting facts about his career.
This program is free and open to residents of all ages. No tickets or reservations are required to attend.
