[ARCHIVED] Price Increases for City Refuse, Yard Waste Bins

June 6, 2019 – Effective July 1, 2019, the cost to purchase a City of Midland refuse or yard waste bin will increase from $65 to $70. Bins are sold to residents at the City’s cost.

Residents can purchase a refuse or yard waste bin by completing and mailing the order form at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/publicservices or in person at the City Treasurer’s Office (333 W. Ellsworth Street) or the Municipal Service Center (4811 N. Saginaw Road). Bins are delivered to residents’ addresses free of charge within 3 business days of purchase; however bins can be purchased and taken home on the same-day by visiting the Municipal Service Center.

All City-purchased refuse and yard waste bins come with a 5-year warranty. Residents can purchase additional bins for their address if desired.
