[ARCHIVED] Meet Author Annie Spence at the Library

May 3, 2019 – Have you ever wanted to hug a book? Yell at a book? Just plain tell it how it made you feel? Annie Spence did, and her book Dear Fahrenheit 451 is the result. In the book, Spence shares over 50 letters written to books that she’s both loved and hated. Some are funny, others are heartfelt, and all are a joy to read!

Now a writer and librarian living in Detroit, Annie Spence grew up in Sanford. She will return to her home area for a meet-and-greet in the Orchard Room of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10, to share her literary experiences with us. Check out Dear Fahrenheit 451 in print or digitally through the Library’s digital services, Hoopla and Overdrive.

For more information about this and other events, call the Reference Desk at 989-837-3449 or visit www.cityofmidlandmi.gov/library. Events like this one can be found in the Adult Services monthly calendar available at the Library.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library is located at 1710 W. St. Andrews Rd and is a service of the City of Midland.
