September 19, 2014 – Today's the last day to enter your favorite snapshots of life in our community in the City of Midland’s annual Calendar Photo Contest. The deadline for the contest is 5pm today.
The 2015 City Calendar and Services Guide will include pics of the city of Midland in all its glory. Individuals are invited to submit color photos of Midland events, scenic or historic places around town, or people at work or play in our community. Photos should identify what makes our community unique.
In order to keep the calendar fresh and reflective of our more recent past, photos should be no more than two years old. Photos from all four seasons are welcome. Up to three (3) photo entries per photographer will be accepted. All images must be submitted as color originals. Photos will be selected on the basis of originality, creativity, and the quality of reproduction.
Photo entries will be accepted at the City Manager’s Office until 5 p.m., Friday, September 19. Photographers whose work is selected for the calendar will be notified by mail in late November.
Photo entry forms may be downloaded from the City’s website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov. Hard copy forms are also available at Midland City Hall and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library.
