[ARCHIVED] City Offices and Services Closed on Good Friday, Easter

April 11, 2019 – All City of Midland offices, including Dial-A-Ride and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, will be closed on Friday, April 19 in observance of Good Friday. In addition, several services will be closed on Sunday, April 21 in observance of Easter.

Residents with Friday, April 19 refuse and Friday Week 3 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Monday, April 22. Place items at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. The City’s Sanitary Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Good Friday.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, April 19 and Sunday, April 21, but will be open during normal hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) on Saturday, April 20.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) will be closed on Friday, April 19, but will observe its normal operating hours on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be attended from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 19 and attended for normal hours on Saturday, April 20. It will be unattended on Sunday, April 21.
