[ARCHIVED] Submit Your Favorite Photos of Midland

Camera

September 5, 2014 – Two more weeks – that’s the amount of time left to submit your favorite photos of life in Midland in the City of Midland’s annual Calendar Photo Contest. Photos must be received by Friday, September 19.

The 2015 City Calendar and Services Guide will include photos of the city of Midland in all its glory. Individuals are invited to submit up to three (3) color photos of Midland events, scenic or historic places around town, people at work or play in our community, or unique features of the city.

In order to keep the calendar fresh and reflective of our more recent past, snapshots should be no more than two years old. Photos from all four seasons are welcome. All images must be submitted as color originals on photo-quality paper. Photos will be selected on the basis of originality, creativity, and the quality of reproduction.

Photo entries will be accepted at the City Manager’s Office until 5 p.m., Friday, September 19. Photographers whose work is selected for the calendar will be notified by mail in late November. The calendar will be mailed to Midland households in early December.

Photo entry forms may be downloaded from the City’s website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov. Hard copy forms are also available at Midland City Hall and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library.

For additional information or questions, contact the City Manager’s Office at 989-837-3307.
