[ARCHIVED] Intermittent Lane Closures at Eastlawn and Swede

Sewer Pipe-CU.JPG

August 18, 2014 – A sewer pipe project will create intermittent lane closures at the intersection of Eastlawn and Swede streets on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19
and 20.

A pipe lining project on Swede between Eastlawn and Patrick streets will be in progress until the week of September 8. Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures along Swede and Patrick throughout the remainder of the project.

Pipe lining involves inserting an epoxy impregnated felt that is cured to the inside of the pipe. This process helps to repair damaged pipes at a relatively low cost as compared to the traditional excavational dig repair process.

There will be intermittent lane closures throughout the project.

For more information, contact the Wastewater Treatment Plant at 989-837-3500.
