October 12, 2018 – Midland residents are reminded that the first of two Budget Planning Study upcoming feedback follow-up sessions is coming up on Tuesday, October 16.

The session will be held from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Midland Law Enforcement Center, 2727 Rodd Street. At the session, participants will learn about the initial research findings and explore ideas for funding City operations in future budget cycles. Both sessions are free to attend and open to the public.

Attendees are asked to RSVP for planning purposes at http://bit.ly/bpssession1. If residents are unable to attend the October 16 meeting, they are encouraged to attend another session held at the same time and location on Wednesday, October 24. Registration is available for this session at http://bit.ly/bpssession2

The City of Midland has partnered with Michigan-based benchmarking organization Cobalt Community Research and business analytics firm Munetrix to complete the Budget Planning Study, which will explore residents’ needs and wants for the future of the City’s public safety, public services, infrastructure, community initiatives, and more.
