[ARCHIVED] Ashman and Washington Construction Nearing Completion

July 30, 2014 – The first two phases of construction work on E. Ashman and Washington streets is substantially complete. Ashman Street and Washington between Ashman and Eastlawn Drive will be reopening by Friday, August 1.

The third and final phase – on Washington between Eastlawn and Patrick streets – will begin on August 1. During this phase, one lane of Washington will be open to northbound traffic, and one lane will be open to southbound traffic. No detour routes are planned.

The entire project is expected to be complete by the week of August 25.

With the 2014 construction season now underway, motorists are encouraged to sign up for weekly and last-minute construction updates by subscribing to City Hall News on the City of Midland website at www.cityofmidlandmi.gov. Motorists may also check the construction updates page on the City’s website for construction details.
