June 22, 2018 – All City of Midland offices, including the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, Sanitary Landfill and Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART), will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Jack Barstow Airport will also be unattended.
Wednesday refuse and Wednesday Week 1 recycling will not be collected on July 4. Instead, residents with both Wednesday and Thursday regular refuse and Wednesday and Thursday recycle week 1 collection will have their items picked up on Thursday, July 5. Residents are reminded to place items at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 5 to ensure pick-up.
