[ARCHIVED] Ashman Closed Monday from Ellsworth to Main for Pavement Repair

April 27, 2018 – Ashman Street will be closed to through traffic between Ellsworth Street and Main Street in downtown Midland on Monday, April 30 as crews repair pavement damaged during an emergency sewer repair in the same area. The intersection of Ashman and Larkin Streets will also be closed.

Motorists can navigate around the closure by following the posted detour route, which utilizes E. Ellsworth, McDonald Street, and Main Street. The road is expected to reopen to traffic by 6 p.m. on Monday.

Residents are reminded that due to the nature of construction activities, the information provided above may change at any time. Should an issue arise that would change this schedule, the City will provide updates via the City’s website, www.cityofmidlandmi.gov, and on its Facebook and Twitter channels at @CityofMidlandMI.
