[ARCHIVED] Midland Firefighters Youth Foundation Hosts St. Baldrick's Event

March 23, 2018 - The Midland Firefighters Youth Foundation invites the Midland community to “brave the shave” and raise money to fight childhood cancer at its 5th annual St. Baldrick’s Day event on Saturday, April 7 from 12 to 3 p.m. Participants can stop by the event at the Boulevard Lounge, 316 S. Saginaw Road, to donate funds or take part in the event’s signature activity: the head shave, which lends support to children who are fighting cancer. Hairdressers from Cooper & Co. Salon Group will be on hand to provide haircuts.

There is no cost to attend the event and all levels of donation will be accepted. Since its inception in 2014, the Midland event has raised over $17,500.

The St. Baldrick’s Day event benefits the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-powered nonprofit organization that is the second-leading funding organizations for childhood cancer research grants.
