[ARCHIVED] City Offices and Services Closed for Good Friday, Easter

March 23, 2018 – All City of Midland offices, including Dial-A-Ride and the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, will be closed on Friday, March 30 in observance of Good Friday. In addition, several services will be closed on Sunday, April 1 in observance of Easter.

Residents with Friday, March 30 refuse and Friday Week 4 recycling collection should place items at the curb on Monday, April 2. Place items at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. to ensure collection. The City’s Sanitary Landfill will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 30.

The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library will be closed on Friday, March 31 and Sunday, April1, but will be open during normal hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) on Saturday, March 31.

Dial-A-Ride Transportation (DART) will be closed on Friday, March 30, but will observe its normal operating hours on Saturday, March 31 and Sunday, April 1.

Jack Barstow Municipal Airport will be attended from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 30 and attended for normal hours on Saturday, March 31. It will be unattended on Sunday, April 1.
